A Father's Legacy

Sad and lonely.  Life in project.

Father on tour.  Mother is pregnant.

Sister is born.  Mother becomes angry.

School becomes good.  Place of happiness.  Home is disaster.

Father comes home.  Life is better.

Siblings share room.

Community angry poor.  Fighting among peers.  People
are cruel.

Employment gets better.  Father loves family.

Summer camping wonderful.  Great anger getaway.

Mother wants move.  Buy country home.

Have few things.  Have lots love.

Children climb trees. Swim in lake.

Family walks together.  Very long walks.

Life seems good.

House under construction.  Jack up house.  Build a basement.

Basement becomes kitchen.  Have much sunlight.  Running hot water.

Washing with machine.  Furnance for warmth.

Friends come calling.  Christmas is joy.  New bikes gifted.

Country fairs yearly.  Oh what fun. Friday night groceries.

Saturday matinee’s abound. Sunday church meetings.

Grammar school over.  High school adventure.

Honor roll student.  New brother born.

Life is good.  High School over.

College draws near.  Freshman scarey year.

Father becomes ill.  Mother so sad.

Children have fears.  Father has died.

Family doth expire.

Sadness and fear.

You have touched my heart and brought back memories of my own father, no longer with us

Dear Lois, The is very poignant and very beautiuful. Look where you are today - from where you started - your father and the whole of your family are all very proud of you from where they are. I hope you have nothing but blessings from this day on. I am so glad that you are my friend....RaeDi

So sad . . . Dad and the memories still remain. Ponder on the joyful times and build a new family from strangers that can become family.
Sending Blessings for healing,
Carol
