Finally, AARP is part of a broad based coalition that opposed Amendment 5 from the beginning (Here's a link floridaspeople.org). At the beginning of the blurb, we put "Just Say No" there to try to thwart any confusion. We explicitly do not support Amendment 5 due to the "devastaing consequences for the state's education, health care, public safety and business sectors." We were very happy with the decision from the Supreme Court to turn down this provision.
