About Me

Hi! I'm retired from the Air Force and am now an empty nester/volunteer! I've been retired for five years now, and I'm really enjoying the change of pace. I volunteer at the high school and my church, plus I am a patient ambassador for Medtronics Inc., but I have plenty of time for long walks, piano lessons, reading books, cooking for my guys, and having lunch with my friends. I am happiest when I can be outside, and I especially like early morning walks on the beach. (Just wish I lived nearer to the ocean!) I'm also taking ballroom dance lessons! Foxtrot is my favorite, but I love tango, waltz, cha-cha and swing, as well as country waltz and two-step. Hmmm ... I guess I pretty well like ALL the dances!!

Interests:
I'm not much into sports, but I do like nature walks. I love traveling and trying new things. For instance, although I wasn't sure I'd like it, I went kayaking recently. I went on a sunset trip in the Tampa Bay area. Awesome! I also LOVE to eat. I had octopus last week. Did you know it tastes like lobster?! I occasionally scrapbook & I like puttering around with my flowers. My biggest passions are reading and playing the piano. If Chopin were alive today, I would be a groupie.

Hope you have a great time. A lot of people cancelled my vote, but surprisingly the popular vote was tighter than I expected. The electoral votes were wow very far apart. Talk to you soon

Hi Miss Linda. Hope you got out and voted today - I cast mine at 6:15AM. At the risk of alienating you GO McCain/Palin. LOL I see you are back on the board again with the word search. Did you ever get an optic mouse? They really do help navigate the games better. Have a nice day.

I canceled out your vote! lol. I did get the optic mouse. Right now, though, I am out of town (in Alabama with my middle son) and using a lap top. Can't play games well with it. Good hearing from you!
