We live about 5 hours away when we're at home, but now we're in our motor home so it's a little further. However, we'll be there for the month of January to take care of her so that she'll be 5 months before going to daycare. It's going to be so fun! Bonding in those first few weeks and months is such a gift -- I remember my mom loving that time with our two daughters, and now we get to feel that joy. What about your grands?
