Your wife must have won the battle, don't see you post much so she took the keyboard away. Hope all is well. Also wanted to share that my great Uncle Noel also served at the battle of the Bulge. I don't remember in what unit though. He never talked much about it

I just noticed that you were in the Battle of the Bulge.

My Dad was as well?he was a tank driver in Patton?s Third Army. Also, a man who later became a very good friend of my dad was trapped in Bastonge (part of the 101st Airborne).

Anyway?just noticed and thought I?d comment.

I was in the 28th Div. which was in the middle that the Germans drove through. Fortunately for me I went in as a replacement in a rifle Co. C of the 110th Reg't.

What a hero you are to me! Thank you for your service! My uncle was in the Korean War and my father in WW2 as well. Fortunately, my brother's number never came up for Vietnam. We were lucky

Dear Karl,
Well I have taken your advice and tried to ignore NEactuary3. Please see his last post on the "Another view. . ." thread. I am afraid he is mentally unbalanced. This is not fun, it is watching people talk to themselves. In addition he is really not too bright as he does not even respond logically to arguments. I find it very hard to believe he is an actuary. Sigh -- too bad.

We used to call them "hard heads"! Very little goes in.Fortunately there are some posters who seem more open. I wish NEACt would cut down the repeats and the length,
