Hawaii is a beautiful and magical place. Your experience here, of course, is determined by "how" you are here. If you come as a tourist and stay in a condo on one of the busy islands like Maui, or on the strip in Waikiki, then you will enjoy the pretty flowers, the warm tropical breezes, the sumptuous tropical fruits fresh from the trees and walking on the sand in bare feet. My experience is quite different living in a rural farming area, so I enjoy the tropical air, but also the work of coffee farming and the pleasure of taking my regular exercise by swimming "lengths" in the ocean (watching fishes and turtle swimming underneath me, sometimes with the dolphins) rather than in a chlorine pool. So, visiting Hawaii is very nice for most people, living there is glorious for some people like me, but too far away from urban centers for others
