My husband enrolled me in AARP when I turned 50 , I did'nt know what this was all about or why I needed it. that was 5 years ago , I am now 55. Now today I am into aarp website reading articles that intrest me and now getting into the Groups to seek out info advice or maybe meet a few of you to chat with.
Even though I have lived in Las Vegas for 15 yrs , because this is where we stayed after my husband retired 20 yrs from the Air Force , So 33 yrs of marriage and depending on my spouse to be there forever with me, was taken away from me in a second when he suddenly passed away. I don't go to the strip or clubs to meet people. I have 3 son's ,they all live here in Las Vegas on thier own . I did look into volunteering at the Military Base but have'nt committed myself to volunteering.
Years are going by fast , I have all this energy , so I travel far away on cruises by myself , I meet very nice people some have asked me why I am single or traveling by myself. Basically is because no one else have the time or money to travel which leaves me with a double occupancy rate when I cruise.
Well it was nice to just write this down , if your reading this mmmmmmmm drop me a HELLO . Aloha for now

It's funny to meet you this way, since I just finally went to Las Vegas (not to gamble, and definitely not to go to strip clubs!) with another (Catholic) woman who also wanted to see the Star Trek Experience, which was at the Hilton but closed September 1st. Did you ever go there? Anyway, see my posting to the group re Trek share, and you'll see why I'm dropping you this line.
