I live in Goodyear, Arizona with my two kids, a friend of my kids, 4 dogs, 1 cat & 1 turtle. It's a very busy household filled with teenagers and guitars. One room is even called the guitar room. I work as the Purchasing Director forthe Peoria Unified School District and will be eligible to retire 12/8/08. However just living off state retirement is not an option so I'll continue on until I find a second career for about $50,000 to make up the difference.

Interests:

I'm finally starting to exercise again, but as everyone knows it's a pain. I'm always glad when I do it though it's just getting there is the hard part. I have a BA in the History of Art & Architecture, which of course did nothing for me getting a career. Actually I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Maybe I'll find it soon. I am an artist, but have not picked up a pencil or brush in quite a while. I hope to have time for volunteer work on a grander scale in a few years after my kids are gone. I'd realy like to join in on a Habitat for Humanities effort.
