I cruised the new Celebrity's Soltice - Mar 1-8th. San Juan, St. Maarten, Tortola and Labardee.

Great trip - fantastic ship.  Even the public rest rooms were a work of art with marble floors and cloth mini hand towels. Service was excellent except for our waiter. He interrupted our conversations and tried to be our new best friend. It was clear he was looking to get bigger tips an boldly mentioned that the last couple of days. 

I took only one ship excursion - St  Maarten (and Marigot - 2 hour tour + beach). 62.00 and not good. The company contracted was awful.  Rip off at the beach especially. I got a partial refund as did some others.

We took an independent tour of Tortola the next day on a safari type vehicle we found parked just at the end of the pier which was outstanding and only 20.00 for over 2 hours! He was courteous and informative.

Labardee was tendered and a beautiful section with lots of chairs and hammocks. The vendors ALL had the same items for sale and were Sooooo aggressive that we could not even look to see what was there! I have never seen such awful display. They stuck things right up an inch in my face screaming - only 2 dollars! They were pushing each other to get our attention. I really felt over run and forced my way to the nearest exit. The tender boats brought the food over first - big delay and then it was 2 hours before it was set up and ready for us.
