Hi, Kathy, I just know you'll love knitting. I just felted two purses and finished a green tunic vest. I have a poncho on the needles. I also have six or seven unfinished projects.
I like James Patterson, but I find Patricia Cornwell a bit too graphic. I am in the midst of reading the Miss Julia novels. I love them. They are on the same wave length as the Midford series, and I really liked them. Doris (my friend) just gave me THE FRIDAY NIGHT KNITTING CLUB, and I'd like to start that soon.
I can't believe the fall type weather we've been having here in southeastern Michigan. It's too early for fall, we still should have a few short sleeved or sleeveless days.
It will take a major miracle for the Lions to make a comeback. We need a new owner, a new general manager, a new coach, and quite a few new players.
It's nice to hear from you. Have a good weekend.

Kathy, welcome to knitting. Are you a football fan? I live in a suburb of Detroit, so our football team is the Lions. You KNOW what a fiasco and joke they are. I can remember the glory days of the Lions, but ever since Billy Ford bought them, they have gone down and down, until there isn't much lower they can go.
How long have you been knitting? What do you like to knit? I'm working on a poncho right now, but i have a number of projects just waiting for me to get back to them. I have a knitting group tomorrow morning, and I am going to force myself to complete three of them there.
It almost seems like Fall is here, it's been so cool lately. It's another beautiful day here, blue cloudless sky. But again it's quite cool.
Do you have a family? Who is your favorite crime writer?
I hope to talk to you again. Welcome to Knitting.

I am just starting to knit. My younger sister (she was born 2 weeks before I graduated from HS!) knits and does all sorts of other crafty things! I have 3 young children (started late!) Bridget - 8, Katie - 5½, and Robert - 4. All 3 are adopted, the 2 youngest from China. I plan to take a knitting cl****and/or join a knitting group.

I do like football. We have the Indianapolis Colts who are not off to a great start. We have a new stadium and I hope they don't go the way of our basketball team (Pacers) after the new arena opened! Hopefully, the Lions will make a come back soon!

I like to read James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell. Right now I am reading the Janet Evanovich novels. What about you?
