About Me

I am a retired Postal worker with a wonderful life. I am divorced and beginning to learn to date and just have a good time with no strings, though I harbor no animosity toward committed relationships. If the right opportunity presents itself I am a most willing subject! I actually treasure commitment and have just forgotten after a nearly 20 year marriage, how to find a "partner in crime!"

Interests:
I play golf, snow ski, still love to camp and an occasional hike, but my arthritis limits my participation in volleyball and softball! I love to swim, and hope to have a pool available after my move next month!

This could be fun.  I suppose I can use this space to just say anything that comes to mind...............I won't just yet, but we'll see what I can come up with in the future!  I DO love to write.  This might be just the ticket to motivate me to share openly with other like-minded and like-aged folks!  I hope you can laugh when you read what I write.  It will make it all that much more fun!

Just for example, I was thinking recently about how wonderful experience can be.  As I watched a young father playing with his infant son (still not yet 3 months old), he was encouraging the little boy to stand on his lap.  He even made a big deal of trying to let him stand on his own.  Don't get me wrong, it was very cute, but it occurred to me that he is trying to help him learn to walk and transition into toddler-hood!  Right now, he can't WAIT for that little boy to take his first steps!  Well, as I said, experience can be a wonderful thing, and I know that about 15 minutes after that little boy takes his first steps, the parents lives will CHANGE!  It will be a constant battle to watch the little monster and make sure that everything in the house is out of reach!  Don't let him hit his head!  Don't let him touch the vase!  Don't let him..............oh, heck, I haven't forgotten who I'm talking to.  You already KNOW what comes next!  You've lived it!  I'll get to relive it again with my friends!  I can't WAIT!
