A Day in the Life . .

A retired teacher and confirmed dog-lover, I now have more time to devote to my "furry kids."  Early morning (about 5 a.m.) is my preferred reading time -- all's quiet and I can really focus.  Don't do as much gardening as I'd like to -- wonder why?  Also involved in the Friends of the Empire (CA.) Library and Stanislaus County division of the California Retired Teachers Association.  Enjoy getting a "kid fix" by subbing now and then -- and the extra income is nice, too.  Still interested in things kiwi, having lived in God-Zone (New Zealand) for 11 years.
