Hi:
Just saying hi, I used to post years ago when I first joined AARP and then I got busy returning to school and just graduated in May.
Never had the opportunity when I was younger to go to college and I tried college a few times without much success because of lack of support, but somehow it clicked when I returned in 2001. I was truly blessed with wonderful instructors and mentors who wouldn't allow me to quit and above all my beloved husband who I w ill be celebrating 25 years of marriage on July 3, who turned the corner and became one of my biggest supporters!!! Life happens to us all and we all go through the rough patches and at times don't see our way out clearly, but returning to school and finding a psychology class where I was able to find myself helped me grow beyond my wildest dreams!!! I was also blessed with a wonderful instructor who saw my stress levels being sky high and decided to get me to get healthy and the wonderful support system of friends at the college who joined in that effort!!! Today I am proud to say I am happier and healthier than I was, not saying I don't have those down times,I do, but I appreciate things that are more important to me and have set priorities differently than I used to!!!
That's all for now!!!
