About Me

I am a retired educator and thoroughly enjoying my retirement! My focus today is on health and wellness, family, friends and spiritual growth. Life is good!

Interests:
My newest interest is my dog "Sugar"! She's from a rescue and has flourished since I adopted her. She's worth her weight in gold because she makes me laugh! She's also a great motivator to get out for a one to three mile walk every day. Time with my family and friends and regular gym workouts are my primary outside activities. Maintaining my home and yard and gardening keep me busy too. Reading, sewing and crafts when I have time

I'VE DROPPED OBEDIENCE I

Well, I decided to drop out of obedience class.  I just haven't had the time, and I hate to admit, the energy to work with Sugar like I should.  We do get a good walk in everyday though and her "on leash" obedience couldn't please me more.  The yard work when we get a clear day wears me out and I seem to need the next day to re-coop.   Not used to that!  But, the wet spring we've had has kept me from being able to spread it out more.  Still behind.  And, the digging continues so I'm resetting a plant or two each day as I work on ways to share the yard with Sugar.  Not a bad price to pay for the Joy she brings.
