Thank you for your reply and I enjoyed reading about you and your life. My observation would be that jazz clubs may not be the best place for you to wander. Although living alone can be lonely at times, most of the time I am in my head planning on my next activity and where that can bring me that is good for me. Today, I will go to the nearest Farmers Market..listen to the great music, taste some of the exquisite food that is prepared there, smell some flowers and soaps and possbily buy some fresh produce and a lucious baked good from one of the organic bakers. There are lots of people wandering and then I will get a good cup of coffee and just sit and watch the people. There are so many things out there for me to do that it really is a good life when I stop and look around.

The times I've been alone have been when I've been transferred to another city and have gone ahead to find a place for my family. Thank heaven I have a family that loves me. I know I'll always have at least one son around to keep me company now.
