I had never heard of Poyntelle. I see it is northwest of Honesdale. I've fished at Prompton Lake twice and once at Belmont Lake which is really close to Poyntelle. I've also been at the Starrucca Viaduct. That is one beautiful and amazing bridge. I've seen Stillwater Reservoir near Forest City, never fished there but it seemed like an interesting place. We fish mostly in the Lehigh River and a few lakes in the Poconos. We do x-country ski. There are lots of towpath trails and parks nearby where we go when we have snow which has been rare the past few winters. We do ski and snow shoe in the Poconos and at Promised Land. My wife used to downhill ski but she had a badly broken leg 4 years ago and has since stopped. I invite you to view some of the fishing pictures on my page
