Your job sounds really interesting and I'm sure you have some unusual adventures. I've lived in Washington since 1985, downtown Seattle since 2002. I love it here having been born and raised in Texas! I like the milder temps here and the Winter in this area isn't as cold as you might think! I miss a lot about Texas, but I think of myself as a Texatonian! Simply can't handle the heat, it was in the mid to high 70's when I was there @ Christmas!
My brother and his wife retired from the Air Force and finally moved from New Hampshire to Albuquerque,N.M.! He couldn't take the long cold winters anymore and needed lots of warm sunshine!
I want to wish you and Otis the best and welcome to this group, I'm relatively new and really enjoy it! Lots of good people and pets!
