BARNS OF ILLINOIS

You need Adobe Flash Player to view this video. (Download free Adobe Flash Player now.)
All these barns can be found in Illinois, that is if they are still standing, barns are fast disappearing.

Absolutely lovely . You have a great talent !

I wonder if you know of Erick Sloane's booKs?

The one that comes to mind is Eric Sloane's "An Age of Barns: An Illustrated Review of Classic Barn Styles and construction"

My favorite of his is "A Reverence for Wood". You can read the reviews on Amazon and most libraries have one or more of his books

I love old barns too. There are a lot of them in WY. I always have to stop and take pictures. You are a terrific photographer

Nice video, the last time I traveled in rural North Dakota, you don't see sights like that. It is funny how the older we get, thses things bring such beauty into our lives

Lovely pictures, thank you. Brings back memories of my childhood. I grew up in Shelby County, IL and loved all the old barns.
Have a great weekend.

It's nice to see a part of our nation's history in the heartland being preserved. Good job!
