Life was so simple then, so fun, so joyful Brings back to my mind this field I used to take a short-cut through to go to the library. I used to catch tadpoles there. I caught many tadpoles, but, (unfortunately), went home full of mosquito bites. Of course back then we were not afraid of the West Nile Virus. I love the time we were born, 'baby boomers' or not

Ahhhhhh...sweet memories! Swimming holes are pretty hard to find in this day and age, but they were so much fun! A quiet, restful place to sit and dream when noone else is around, and a raucous, splashy, laughter-filled playground when friends surround!
There should be more of them today for our youngsters...and for ourselves, too! I'd be game! :)
