I have gotten the house decked out for the holidays, and will start the baking this Sunday for Thursday's big dinner, pie's & cake.
I even had time to sew a holiday apron for myself.

I thought of you twice today! Once when we had a delicious dinner at a Mexican restaurant in the mountains and once when we passed a car with Illinois plates. I had never seen the plates before and thought the wheat and the bright Cardinal looked so pretty! We have several different types of plates here in CO so I realize you might not have the Cardinal plates on your own car but it certainly is striking.
