About Me

Well, I am a widow who has one wonderful daughter, a great son-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter. I am a professional interor designer who has worked as a commercial manufacturer's representative since 1989. Three years ago I moved to JAX to be near my only family. My business is hectic with constant deadlines. I do plan to slow down soon so that I can travel for pleasure. My husband died in 1993 after a long illness. After his death, I moved to Birmingham, AL to care for my father and aunt and start over in business. After their deaths, I moved to Jacksonville to be near my daughter and her family

Interests:

It is hard to squeeze them in but I love to garden, and work on art pieces,(undergraduate degree is Visual Arts). I have a design company, JBW Designs. I mainly focus on custom gift items such as wine gift bags and Christmas stockings. I take fitness and wellness seriously. I enjoy hiking, boating. I love to read. Over the years I have been involved with many volunteer activities but have not taken the time since moving to JAX. Cooking has always been a serious interest but it has evolved into the fresher, more creative approach to preparing a meal. I love Creole menus, Mediterranian and Italian foods.
