A gorgeous photograph of young dancers from the Washington Post. I bought it and it hangs on my home wall.

i've memorized each woman's face, her arms, hair, the light. There's one young african american dancer who's the only one who's stepped out of character and is observing, for example. anyhoo, i love it to pieces and when the house is burning down, i'll shoo out the humans and cats, and grab this one photo.

I got the 11 by 14 and bought it framed. Came quickly and safely packaged. I splurged.

I don't want to be a pain with so many questions but what size did you get? Sometimes the size can change the impact of the picture. I just can't stop looking at it, it's awe inspiring. It's really only by chance that I came to your profile and this picture.

Awesome! Great idea! And here's the article that accompanied the photo: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/23/AR2007112301058.html. Really very cool.

You get to surprise her with it, and then you can enjoy it too!

You can order it online from the Washington Post photo store, since it was a Post photographer. You search for its name (the name of the play), "How Long, Brethren" and you find it. It was taken on Nov. 25th 2007, and the photographer is Richard Lipski. http://gallery.pictopia.com/wpost/search/?q=%22How Long%2C Brethren%22 He won second place from the white house news photographer's association: http://www.whnpa.org/contest/eyes2008/stills/pictorial/02/2.shtml.
