According to a report published in the European Journal of Epidemiology, researchers at the National Defense Medical College in Tokorozawa, Japan, studied the effects of coffee and tea drinking. They found that coffee, not tea, lowered blood pressure in regular drinkers.
But before coffee-drinkers go to town drinking coffee, here's the word on tea from the American Journal of Epidemiology. The journal published a study from Harvard Medical School that shows that tea, not coffee, reduces the risk of heart attacks.
