A friend told me that a relative of hers hooked the cable TV in their summer home up to service from a nearby vacant house. My friend only found out because one of the children mentioned what "Daddy did", and that it was OK, since no one was living in the other house or being billed for the usage. "Daddy" is a mid-level local government employee, and not a "shrinking violet", so my friend feld uncomfortable say anything to him.

How would you handle a situation like that in your family? Friends?
