Paid Participants Sought for Online Distance Caregiving Research Study
The Health Communication Master’s
of Science Program at Chapman University in Orange, California is
conducting a research study that examines interpersonal
communication patterns of people who have provided unpaid
long-distance care to an individual who is age 55 or older in the
past year. The purpose of this study is to learn more about
your interactions and experiences as a distant caregiver. We are seeking volunteers to complete an
approximately 15 to 20-minute online survey that includes questions
about demographic and relational information, your interpersonal
communication with the individual receiving care (i.e., the care
recipient), and your health. To qualify for this study and receive compensation, you must meet the following criteria: 1. Be age 18 or older 2. Live long-distance from the care recipient 3. Have provided unpaid care for a friend or family member who is age 55 or older in the past year
Distance caregiver participants who
fit the above criteria and who provide valid email addresses will
receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card via email within 1-2 weeks of
completing the online survey. If you would like to participate, please click on this web address (or cut and paste it into your web browser):

Folks, Just so you know,
We the moderators and Community Help here at AARP.org reviewed this request. Since this is legitimate research for a university, we allowed it to be posted.
So if you're interested, give it a try, and give us any feedback, okay?
Thanks!
