Hello,
I would like to share information about a product care receivers would appreciate. I designed an accessory  while caring for my mom that allowed her to stay covered during bathing and clothing changes. It really made a difference for both of us.  I started a nonprofit for other moms and daughters like me. For more information please visit www.dignityrc.org

Robin,

God bless you for your creativity and sensativity.  My Mom is 82.  She lives with us and is currently able to care of her own bathing needs.  I have added your site to my favorites list for the time when that is no longer possible.

Thank you so much.

Robin,

It sounds like a very helpful accessory. When I cared for my mother, she needed bibs and I didn't know they were available (later discovered them -for a pretty good cost). So I took handtowels and cut them in half, scooped the neck enough to put velcro on tabs and used those for quick bib whenever I got to be with her at mealtime. I kept about four  in a drawer at the nursing home and then took them home to wash and bring back- so I could keep up with them. It did the trick to keep her sweatsuit clean at mealtimes.

Every little bit of these kinds of things make caregiving less stressful and yours is a blessing for dignity.
