It was a busy weekend on Capitol
Hill. In the wee hours of Saturday night, the US House of
Representatives
passed critical health care reform
legislation. The bill will
strengthen Medicare for seniors and curb discrimination by insurance
companies that price millions of Americans out of affordable health coverage.
AARP announced
its support for the
Affordable Health Care for America Act on Thursday. The legislation
meets the needs of seniors and their families by:
