Good day to all veterans out there. I am a US Navy veteran helping to organize the Veterans Day Parade in NYC. We are going on our 90th Anniversary for the parade and also the 90th for the end of WWI. We are having about 200 groups marching up 5th Ave. That comes close to 20,000 people marching. If anyone out there would like to participate you can find out all the information on our web site at www.unitedwarveterans.org . The USS New York, which was just commissioned and has 7.5 tons of steel from the World Trade Center in her bow, will be there. Come one come all and show your support to our troops and veterans. Thank you for your support.

Hello. If you do come and want to march or if you cannot march we have floats that you can ride on. Come and see me at 27th street between Madison and Broadway. Ask for Jeff. I am a parade captian for that block. Tony Curtis is one of our Grand Marshalls.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INVITE. I AM GOING TO TRY TO ATTEND. I BELIEVE I CAN. THE USS NEW YORK WAS BUILT ON THE BLOD OF SO MANY NEW YORKERS. GOD BLESS THIER SOULS. AND ON ALL THE VARIUS RESPONSE TEAMS OF ALL TYPES AND OF ALL AGENCIES AND DEPARTMENTS. THIS WILL BE A "GREAT" PARADE TO MEMORIALIZE THOSE MANY INDIVIDUALS.

I AM SURE CONCERNING THE 7 TO 8 TONS OF STEEL AND THE MEMORY OF 9/11 WILL GIVE THE CREW MUCH MORE FIGHT, STRENGTH, AND DETERMINATION THAT THIS COUNTRY HAS NOT SEEN SINCE WW II. AND ITS ABOUT TIME. BEING A NAM VET MYSELF AND DISABLED, I HAVE SEEN WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON WITH OUR VETERANS HEALTH CARE. NOT TO MENTION THE PROBLEMS MANY VETS ARE HAVING GOING BACK TO SCHOOLS. AND MANY OTHER PROBEMS OUR VETERANS ENDURE AFTER WE SEPARATE FROM OUR MILITARY SERVICES.

I HAVE FOUND THAT OUR VETERANS HEALTH CARE IS BEING RATIONED. BUT WHEN I WRITE THE V.A. OR AN ORGANIZATION FOR AN ANSWER AS TO WHY, I DO NOT EVEN RECEIVE A REPLY. THE V.A. IS A CABINET POSITION. SO RATHER THAN TREAT US VETS RIGHT. WE ARE ACTUALLY ONLY BEING PROCESSED. 30 MIN APPOINTMENTS, NO MATTER HOW BAD YOUR FEELING, NO MATTER HOW BAD THE PROBLEM, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL.. I ONLY WISH I HAD TIME TO SET UP SOMETHING TO CONTRIBUTE TO THIS PROBLEM. THE RECENT VETERANS DON,T KNOW THIS. BUT I AM SURE THEY WILL LEARN VERY FAST HOW YOU MUST FIGHT FOR THE BENEFITS THEY EARNED. SO ACTUALLY, AFTER THIER SEPARATION . THE FIGHT IS ONLY BEGINNING WITH THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION..

THANK YOU NEW YORK!!!!!! FOR REMEMBERING ALL VETERANS AND ALL THOSE LOST ON 9/11. MAY YOUR HIGHER POWER BLESS ALL OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES.

Wish I could be there in the parade but I am not able to do so but thanks for the information and invite. I will be thanking of my fellow Veterans and Marine Corp friends for their paticapation in the parade. The parade will make it a great day for all Veterans and all Military Personnel.

Let us not forget the fallen and wounded at Fort Hood and keep them in our prayers and hearts (the civilian and military personnel). Remember the families of the fallen and pray for the wounded a speedy recovery.
