This past Tuesday I went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The movie turned out to be much better than I expected and had me laughing several times. The animation is great.

I know that some people would say that this is a kids movie, hey, I am just a big kid now, retired and on permanent vacation. I saw the movie as a good movie for both kids and adults with a good story for parents.

Even as adults we can enjoy good cartoons, maybe more since we've seen their evolution from Steamboat Willie and the Silly Symphonies to the lifelike Pixar stuff.

Of a little darker nature, but visually delightful is "9" by Tim Burton. It's a post-apocalyptic story of revitalization. Excellent voice casting and attention to detail.

Hi,

I'm 53 years old and enjoy the movies like "Ants", "Buglife" "Babe", all the Ice Age movies, etc.

I like the cleverness and creativeness of these cartoons and animals.

Happy Feet was good too.

Nothing wrong with kid stuff.   Forget the violent stuff.

I never liked James Bond movies.

I was more into Family movies.
