Today is the anniversary of the death of Truman Capote, who is often credited with pioneering the "true crime" genre of non-fiction. In his honor I thought I would post a topic for those who are fans of crime and mystery writers. Do you have any great ones that you follow and would like to share?

Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting and thanks for the welcome Bonjovi! Some of my favorite authors are Harlan Coben,Tess Gerritsen, Alex Kava and Lee Child.
In response to the question of used books, both Barnes & Noble.com and Amazon rate their sellers based on customer feedback and the seller usually will be quite honest as to the condition of the book. The downside of it is if you have a problem, you have to contact the seller, wait for a reply, pay for the shipping and return charges and hope that the book has not gone out of print before you get another copy. Hope that helps

Hi!
Did you ever buy used books? I was wondering, if they are in good order, or if there are pages missing?
I saw on Amazon, where you could buy used books, I don't know in what shape they are in?
Can someone help me???
Thanks
Hi Jackieangel!
Thanks for the information regarding one for the money, but is it really a mystery book?
Do you have any idea, where I could find the Perry Masson books?
Thanks for the help!

Hi, Patsy
I agree BOMC2 gets the new books FAST, and I like that!!!
It is interesting to find out how much you like the Kindle because you are the first person I've personally seen recommend it so highly. Yes, I can imagine that it is easier to hold than a big large print book. Nice feature that you can control the font.
