Just caught in an old (summer 2009) issue of the Advocate that Aetna is now linking to GLMA.org so that patients can locate gay doctors in hundreds of cities and towns.  Very cool, if you have Aetna. And if you don't , the site GLMA.org is still very cool!

who likes her straight female doc but is grateful to have a lesbian neurologist!

Seriously.

This is especially good news for GLBT folks in rural areas. Gay docs are pretty common in big urban areas in blue states. Its the rest of the country that needs help!
