I am lucky enough to be medication free but my parents are not and their drug expenses were very high.  They joined Part D, which helped somewhat but the donut hole was killing them.  Banker's Life sells a drug discount card for $50 a year but I found a free card that is almost exactly the same.  The card is called Rx Card Plus and offers discounts on most drugs - you can also look up the cost in any pharmacy in the country from their website.  The site is located at www.RxCardPlus.com .  When you go there you can print out a card that you can carry with you. When you go to the drug store just hand it to the pharmacist just like you do with your health or medicare card and they give you the discount.  It has saved my parents considerable money while they are in the donut hole on medicare part D.

That's a great site but you are getting your meds from England, which I am sure is safe but is illegal so be aware of that because the US government has been sensitive to buying from out of the US because Canada has been offering inexpensive drugs, which has become so popular with the older crowd.  I guess the best way to go is try a discount card like www.RxCardPlus.com or comparable and if the UK is cheaper and you are willing to take the risk then order from the UK.

At medtipster.com, you can search for the low-cost alternatives to your prescriptions. By simply entering prescription drug name, dosage and zip code, you will be provided with a list of $4 drugs and other discount generic pricing information for your prescriptions available at pharmacies in your neighborhood.

To learn more, visit www.medtipster.com.

because I am not old enough for Medicare yet and my company's drug plan does not cover a number of my more expensive prescriptions, I searched online and started buying from http://the-med-store.com/ about a year ago. This is clearly not an option for everyone, but it is working well for me and my family
