Divided We Fail

Americans should have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their futures will be financially secure. Yet, millions of Americans worry about their health and long-term financial security. For many, the American dream is eroding along with this security.

AARP, Business Roundtable, SEIU, and NFIB believe all Americans should have access to affordable, quality health care and peace of mind about their future long-term financial security, and we're going to mobilize our members and the public to demand solutions.

When I was in my twenties, one of the local theaters used to show pornies starting at midnight on friday and sat nights, and there were always a bunch hollering out improbable suggestions and scenarios, and just generally lampooning the pornie plot, and characters.  Just normal twenties kids........ My girlfriend at the time was a minister's daughter, and she could think of some of the most obscene and improbable suggestions to yell out at the screen.......

In the same fashion, there are more than a few who listen to Beck fairly regularly, and ridicule, lampoon and make fun of Beck's limited intellecual capacity.   How do I know?  My oldest who is a registered Republican is a member of such a group of young adults, who are only nominally Republicans, and utterly reject conservatism.  Why?  Because they aren't anywhere nearly as dimwitted as the average Blech viewer.   I've been invited to a few of those gatherings, and have much optimism for the future - based on the actual functioning intellect and skepticism of  "traditional family values" that the majority of young adults appear to possess.

Hooray for Glenn Beck and his bravery in exposing the BO agenda.

His popularity continues to explode.

BTW- if you progressives don't like him- why not watch another channel rather than burdeneing us with you opinion- could it be he gets under your skin.

Notice we more conservatives types could care less about Maddow and Oberman- in fact, we're glad they are there to entertain you with their smarmy comments.

You're right about that. I'm sure included in his audience are a bunch of Libs and far leftwingers who tune in for the laughs.

Young people especially get a kick out of his antics. Will he cry? wear a funny outfit? draw some more nonsensical charts? scream at somebody? faint? what crazy conspiracy will he come up with? what's next? I have no doubt college kids get together to watch and laugh...just as they probably do the Jerry Springer Show. It's still going strong in its 19th year! Sponge Bob gets more ratings 3-4 million at each showing...than any tv show...and that goes for reruns! The nonsensical always draws young people.

I bet if Glenn watches this, he will love it.  You know that he doesn't take himself serously, and only does this for the money, the power and the fame.  He will laugh his head off.  (If he has a sense of humor).

He should get an Emmy for that show.  He did an amazing job!

You are just wrong.  How many times do you think Stewart would have to watch Glenn show to get that down?  He probably concentrated on two or three shows, and that was it.  He does probably have staff whose paid job is to watch him, listen to Rush the Drugster, etc.  I am sure that Jon Stewart has as hard a time as I do, watching the idiosy of Glenn
