Divided We Fail

Americans should have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their futures will be financially secure. Yet, millions of Americans worry about their health and long-term financial security. For many, the American dream is eroding along with this security.

AARP, Business Roundtable, SEIU, and NFIB believe all Americans should have access to affordable, quality health care and peace of mind about their future long-term financial security, and we're going to mobilize our members and the public to demand solutions.

How ridiculous- it would have been just as cheap to buy us all a car.

There was one good thing resulting from Klunkers.

9 out of 10 turned in Klunkers had Obama stickers.

=========================================

You made that up.

I can't imagine why.

I didn't know that ,but i remember passing by a Chevy dealership on the way home from school and seeing the new 57 Chevy's being unloaded off a truck...I remember it like it was yesterday...I had friend who owned a 57 Ford when we were in high school,it was two tone, white and blue.. I remember it had a 312 cubic inch engine.. I had a 52 Plymouth convertible,yellow in color..It had a flat head in line six..It had a burnt valve,so i just pulled off the spark plug wire and drove on five...Try that with today's cars and the computer would go nuts... Those were the good  days...

I have had good luck with Chevy's..I tend to keep cars a long time..Now that i am retired i more than likely will keep them even longer..

 My daughter and son-in law are Ford people (his cousin sells them) ,when i go to their house for party's my car is the only non Ford there..

Greg:

Sunliner. Beautiful car. Did you know the 1957 Ford outsold the 1957 Chevy by a few hundred vehicles?

I have four Fords, one purchased this week (2010 Lincoln Navigator). I am going to only buy Fords, in an effort to keep jobs here, and reward an American company for NOT taking Obama money.

I don't care if the Japanese or Germans design a better widget,...let's get those American jobs back here.

Alferdpacker:

That is a funny retort. LMAO. As a salesman, I will use that one.
