I did this miniature of the Iris for my Mother for this Mother's Day. It is her favorite flower....RaeDi (c) 2009

As time goes by our relationship, takes on a newness of form.
You are and always will be my Mom.
However, here lately my Best Friend you have become.
We can talk, laugh, and even cry together,
sharing all the ups and even the downs.
I shall cherish this newborn companionship.
It fills my soul, with your love, and support like strong columns.
All filled with love, joy, and happiness.
Because of your loving devotion, and your guidance, a
special link I have with my Mom, my soul is now complete.
Your nearness makes my soul thorough and absolute.
It is filled with unconditional love, which goes both ways.
I am honored indeed, our mutual relationship.
My Mom and My Best Friend, are one and the very same,
communally I hope I have become.
I feel blessed each new day.
As we have become together one.
No matter how old a mother is she watches her middle-aged children
for signs of improvements.

My Mom as a child was ready to do just about anything from riding in open cockpits of airplanes, climbing trees, riding horses and she was a very gifted Pianist. She raised us to be the souls we have become. I thank my Mom for letting us, be who we wanted to be as long as we used our God Given Talents. She taught us to put others first and to always do the best at whatever we were doing. Can’t never could. A penny saved a penny earned. Who you become is by what you do for others along the way. Just some of the saying our Mother would teach us as we grew up. I love her dearly; it has been very hard on her since my sisters passing. I try real hard to make up for the lost by being two ~ calling twice as much, sending double the cards and helping her in any way I can. Happy Mother’s Day, I love you Mom, I love you more….RaeDi
This picture was taken of my Mother right after riding in the cockpit of a single wing and then a bi-wing plane. I think she is still trying to figure out what just happened. She was four years old.
She loved riding horses.

You have a wonderful Mother to have raised such a wonderful daughter. This was a beautiful tribute to her.
That a wonderful tribute to your mother I have just lost mine this last Easter and I was the one to tell about her life and I told all if it wasn't because of time I could have gone on for an hour.
