Well I hope everyone has had a much better week-end then myself....LOL

I picked up a load Friday evening in Mississauga, On. Canada for Laredo,Tx. was a happy camper with good miles for the week-end.  NO NO NO..Mr. Murphy decided to come along for the ride, guess he thought I couldn't do without him?  Almost to the border when truck-computer starts beeping incoming msg.  STOP! Broker does not have enough paperwork to cross. Now they could not find the customer to get the right P-Work so I can get back into the good ol' USA.  So I've been sitting in a small truckstop waiting all week-end and as of this msg. still here.  Oh the thrills and adventures of truck driving. But sitting around does give me the chance to meet new folks, Met some really nice folks from the area around Chatham, On. They loved my southern accent..LOL I tried to tell them I didn't have an accent but they sure did. Rita the wife thought  southern men where so polite and soft spoken...Boy did we have them fooled. Now one thing I've always done was put all my Canadian change in a can, well I dug through and came up with 18 Loonies ( 1 Canadian Dollar coins) so I was able to get laundry done. But all in all it's not been to bad of week-end except for the fact I'm not making any money. But then I really need to go on a diet anyway and the weather was great here. Plus I got caught up on alot of on-line work and visited with the grand-kids and friends cause I have a wifi signal here. My youngest grand-son thinks my truck is a "Transformer-Truck" and showed me his toy one so he thinks grand-dad's truck is pretty cool. Web-Cams are a great way to keep in touch with friends and family far away. See there's a silver lining behind every cloud........TZ

Well normally I would get forced lay-over pay which isn't much. But due to the circumstances my boss is trying to get me detention pay, which is much, much more...I can only hope I get paid that way. But I haven't forgotten Mr. Murphy..LOL

Thanks...I should be. It's Monday morning and everyone's back to work.  Seems this has caused a very big storm..LOL  I'm still sitting in Canada with a million dollars worth of machinery that was suppose to be in Laredo today.  Someone's going to be standing on the carpet somewhere trying very hard to explain this mess.....I'm just glad it's not me.  I love it when the "BIG-BOYS" start sweating.
