Can anybody tell me where I can find information about laws in Massachusetts for setting up durable power of attorney, healthcare proxy, etc. for my parents?

You might want to start by reading the elderlaw guide developed by the Massachusettes Bar Association at http://www.massbar.org/for-the-public/public-information/elder-law-education-program. It has lots of information, contact information and resources about helping your parents prepare these documents. It is a good idea for them to talk with an attorney for help in preparing a power of attorney. You can get a free Mass. health care proxy form for them to use at http://www.caringinfo.org/AdvanceDirectives.
