These Frustrations are sometimes caused by current or past events in our lives. I want this to be a Discussion area where we address these concerns. All opinions will be respected! Shelby

Does anyone know of another AARP-like organization?

I will not renew my AARP membership due to AARP's endorsement of the healthcare bill.

I would like to join another organization that is similar in offerings however one that is supportive of its membership in important matters such as healthcare.

AARP's endorsement of the healthcare bill is unconscionable.

Hi CN929,

You don't have to agree with AARP'S endorsement to remain a member.  Would you stop seeing Barbra Streisand, Sean Penn, Robert Redford or Mel Gibson movies because of their political beliefs?

So why leave the AARP Community Boards?  You don't even have to remain a member to participate.  I feel that this senior website isthe best Senior Websites on the web, but of course that is my opinion!

You feel one way about the Health care Bill, but millions of people remain uninsured, because they either can't afford insurance, or can't qualify.  Health Reform is needed.  Situations like this are unconscionable in my opinion, especially in a great country like this.

Either way, we are all entitled to believe any way we want, and our beliefs don't have to coincide with the beliefs of others!    You might enjoy my other Group, ISSUES OF VITAL CONCERN where we discuss these very issues!
