You ask me "Why..." I do it this way and not that

You ask so many WHYs is your few sentences to me -

I ask Why must you only see WHY

Instead of seeing who I am...let me just BE~

Change the way you write you say

Change the way your heart beats you may as well command-

My license is my r/write

I do not seek prize or glory nor fan~

Can we not come together

At this place at least can we not be safe from pointed fingers typing-

We each are aware we are as we are

And THAT is the WHY of our writing presence here...it is to all our liking~

Some may use differing fonts

Some may huse colours and spell things as they may-

Do not take away from the purety of such offerings

By casting a BOLD RED MARK on what yoU may not comprehend the WHY of what we say~

Here we are amoungst friends although the odds of knowing another face are great-

Here we come expecting nothing and yet each time another will encourage and elate~

So instead I/we here ask YOU why not let go of your hard lined rules and rest with us awhile-

Bring mithspellings & runonsthatboggle the mind and simply enjoy and smile~

Ours is not to question WHY-

Ours is but to write, read and sigh~

I love that last line "Ours is but to write, read and sigh~" and "we each are aware we are as we are"

reminds me of that caveman Geico commercial--the one with the song "let me be myself"

Moi, I have the same passion that you have when writing, to be heard and understood. Sometimes it comes from conflicts which we ourselves can't understand, yet need to express.

Beautiful thoughts!  Your phrase "Why must you see only Why, instead of seeing who I am - - let me just be" is still echoing around in my head and soul, written so simply but succinctly, Thank you.

Why do we always ask, "Why?" Why not! Well put and thank you, Zil

Why is such a personal question I think and it can elicit strong emotions from the questioner as well as the questionee. I like this write very much. To write what we write is just what we are. There really is no reason why, other than that is what we are feeling at the time. Thanks for putting that into words.
