The popular Cash for Clunkers program was a great push for "greening" transportation, but what about not needing a car at all? Do you live in a community where you are able to walk or take a bus or light rail to work, your doctor, grocery store, etc?  How important is it to you to live in a community that supports aging in place or getting access to services if you don't want to drive anymore or it's no longer an option?
