Day of Service
Once again, AARP staff and volunteers completed a variety of hands-on educational and direct-service projects that benefited the elderly, the disabled, and other vulnerable populations. This fall, our Day of Service 2009 projects will range from repairing and rehabilitating homes of seniors and people with disabilities to sorting clothing, assembling care packages, and packing food baskets. But you don't need to wait for the Day of Service to join! You too can support this year's Day of Service by volunteering at a local organization or by helping an elderly or homebound neighbor with basic chores and errands. Good Afternoon,

my name is Janice. I live in the Owensville, Missouri area. I was wondering if there was anyone in our area that could be my representitive for my disability hearing in December. I don't know who or where to call to find someone to help me. I don't have any income, and my husband just lost his job in July...Fun times.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it..My e-mail is janice.gross@hotmail.com

Thanks Very Much
