PRAYERS AT TWO IN THE MORNING?

Sleeping peacefully, I heard a knock on the bedroom door, so I jumped up and opened the door, no one was there, so I went back to sleep, and dreamed the phone rang so in the dream I answered the phone and could barely hear the voice on the other end. So next I am fully awake, thinking God must be telling me to pray, so I pray about everything and for everyone at two in the morning! I told my devout Catholic friend about this and she said yes it happens to her waking up for no reason and so she prays the Rosary. In the Catholic faith there are people praying around the clock, sometimes going to the church in shifts all night long, I had another Catholic friend who would take the walk to church in the wee hours until another would come in and take her place. When God tells us to pray without ceasing I can see a whole world at prayer asking God to forgive us all and give us another chance at being the Christians He wants us to be.

Ric, that is so true, the communists could not stop all the Christians in that country and they did go underground to keep the faith alive until that day that they were allowed to worship openly once more.
Yes, I am familiar with that, but there were a few that had to meet underground to pray to keep from being harassed for it. I merely meant now with the fall of the Soviet regime the Cathedrals have been allowed to re-open and worship allowed openly again in most places.........Ric
