Called Registration yesterday, to change an address that wasn't correct, and when my confirmation was e-mailed it contained seat selection for the Thursday night concert--BB King and Gladys Knight. Have you seen BB King in person lately? Nothing firm yet for Saturday night. Today Registration says--many seats available in sections 15 and 16. Looks like you could get a pretty good view from there. They also said their seating chart doesn't show any drop-down screens, so they couldn't tell where they would be (if any). You can sure sympathise with those in the front and center rows this year whose view was blocked by the crowd standing between their costly seats and the stage. What do you think--after your experience in Vegas, do the seats in the rear that are on risers look good to you--or is it better to be on the floor with one or two screens to watch? Leanna |

Hi BethanyAK --
The event website can be found by clicking here or by going to http://www.aarp.org/aarp/events/Life_at_50_Orlando/. We will be adding to the website as information becomes available and the various components are developed.
There is not a concrete agenda for Orlando, but the program will follow the same basic format as we have for previous National Events and Expos.
Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available. The Online Community and the above link will be your best resources for the most up-to-date information.
See you in Orlando!

I didn't register for Orlando while I was in Vegas as I wanted a bit more information. Is there a site yet? Is there an agenda for Orlando yet? Where can I get more detailed info? Thanks for your help. Your time is most appreciated.
Leanna,
The Estevan concert we had seats on the first row of the section behind the front sections and they were good seats, except the stage lights kept turning to shine on the audience and blinded you constantly. And the speakers were right above our heads so we left there with spots in our eyes and headaches. So much for front seats.
For Faith we had seats in the mid rows of the riser directly back from the front of the stage Section 317 I think. MUCH BETTER seats. I had friends who had seats in section 21, supposed to be right side of front of stage. Turned out to be far right side facing the right sideof stage, couldn't really see stage because of tv screens aaround stage and had to turn their heads to the right to watch the big screen. They were very unhappy. Very poor seating arrangement. I understand the venue changed and that's why the seating arrangement wasn't so good. Don't know if that is true or not.
