I am the founder of a startup company that has found a way to get all kids a high quality education.  It's been known for over 40 years that one on one tutoring helps kids learn.  The trouble is that private tutors are too expensive for most families, particularly in today's recession.  For the past 20 years, I've been working on artificial intelligence technology that can teach as effectively as human tutors.  It has produced large educational gains in kids in 100% of its field trials, including helping an entire school district rise from bottom 25% to top performing.  We are currently building an online tutoring service where we'll charge families a few dollars a month for unlimited tutoring for their kids (and give it away free to poor families).  We have about 130 people on the team working for stock in the company, but we can use some more folks.  This is a great spare time opportunity:  you get to help kids and be part owner of the company at the same time.  Market research that we and two other companies performed suggest that this is a $2.5 billion a year opportunity for us.  We need technical folks, managers, curriculum writers and lots more.  If you are interested in working a few hours a week for stock, please contact me.
