Let Jerry play with your video.
Upload wmv video to photobucket or similar site.
Jerry can download and play with it until he finds the AARP bug.
Jerry's answer will help all of us in the future.
p.s. Tip: Uploads to AARP work better during the day . . . during the week. . .
Try an old wmv that worked in the past. Just change the name and upload.
that has been suggested before - when I was so frustrated I couldn't see---audio converted to flv-but no video-!!! I just threw up my hands and QUIT!!!! this SITE!!! bah!!!
HI willynilly7,
yes... arrp seems to still have that issue about uploading videos... I believe it the
way thier converter program works and there not able to properly convert it... don't
why it hasn't been fixed yet... but anyway a work around.....
what i suggest is get your self a little freeware video converter and convert your
wmv file to flv format... then up load... that will work.... go to download.com they have
several freeware you can choose from
hey - here in the forum we are monitored, censored and slapped on the hands like grade school kids!!!...and there is SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE here ---in the MEMBERSHIP!!!
The aarp site has so many glitches within its groups, and I doubt they even care.. they havent cared so far, and it seems to do no good in contacting them... personally i doubt they even try or read complaints concerning software issues... they like everyone else dont want to deal with senior issues, and in my opinion they look at seniors as needing supervision, and guidance, but they dont follow through when the chips are down.... there are many people in these groups who are not even seniors, I do not consider people in thier 50s as seniors, and the only reason aarp does is to recruit more people to join..its a money thing
