Last week I had 11 photos posted .. all publicly .. on my Profile. When I tried to enter one into a post, only 9 of the 11 photos showed up available for selection, and the one I wanted "wasn't there". I rechecked .. all were "Public".

Today I uploaded 4 photos & saved them as "Public". Again when I tried to include them in a post, one of those 4 again "wasn't there". For the heck of it, I uploaded another photo .. and the previous one appeared as available this time.

What gives? How can they appear on your Profile & be Public, yet not show up if you want to add them to a post in a Group?! Anyone else ever experience this?

Astraera

I misspoke. I am sorry. I was trying to be supportive about your comments about your photos. My fingers went to fast and should have spelled AARP. I hope you have a nice week.

Best,

Gene-loeb

I can't answer your question, but I can offer an alternative to getting your photo if it happens again. When you try to add a photo via the "Browse My Photos" button and it doesn't appear, open a new tab and navigate to the photo via your profile. Right-click on the photo and choose "properties". Copy the image url, close the tab and just insert your image by pasting the url into the url field.

What is "my situation," that you think I need to get my photos under control? Who is "AERA"?

I have never had this problem.  I do have to scroll to the right to get them to show though.
