Can someone tell me why posts are disappearing tonight ?

I wasn't having a bit of trouble untill about an hour ago,

and then when I hit the reply, it just disappears as if I

had never even started - no opps, no error - just poof !!

and it's gone!

OK,  I went back to check before calling it a night and

two of my posts were doubled and one is still in cyber-space.

This one made on the first try, like it should.  Anyone else having

this problem?

Using Fire Fox I see a box at the bottom right that fills up with green blocks as the forum processes delete's etc. Sometimes it takes more time than others due to the load on the site.

...I had the same problem...'last night', 6 Nov., when trying to 'post' a Reply to a new card on my profile page; so, I re-typed it, hit 'reply'; it was successful; by the way, in this instance, the first one was 'lost' completely.

Today, so far, the only all-too-familiar problem I've had is that some of the messages I click on to "Delete" don't get deleted; that happens regularly!     Cheers, Anna

Hi Maria, Thanks for the reply.  This problem is made worse

for our Loose Ends group, because we share graphics, and

there is a lot of posting goin' on. They are not always the

optimum size for viewing, so we enlarge or decrease the

size (usually decrease, so they don't take up such a large space)

Needless to say , you can't 'size' something you can't see.

I haven't had  much of a problem with it happening occasionally,

but the other night I was doing good if one out of five posted.

I have wondered if these little glitches, being so frequent

late at night and early morning, might be caused from the site

being up-dated or tweaked during that time.

Hi Macie, sorry you are having that trouble, it happens often but I learn that once you post, do not do it again even if it disappear, just go do something else and came back latter and most of the time it will be there, if you do it again you'll have to many.  Once when I didn't know I found 7 repeated post and I couldn't delete them and had to apologize to everyone even thought it was not my fault!  Just be patience, you'll start to know and keep up with the numerous glitches in this web site, just have fun and enjoy.   Good luck!
