I've started this group here to keep folks abreast of changes in IL and National laws that affect your food choices, the cost of food, and programs that will affect these issues. Other issues, considering such topics as nutritional information and alternative medicine are my personal opinions, based on research, and not necessarily those of IICFA or its other members. I am affiliated with the Illinois Independent Consumers and Farmers Association, and this is an extension of that affiliation. IICFA is a legal entity within the State of Illinois, and is currently awaiting approval of its 501 status. IIFCA's purpose is to promote and preserve unregulated direct farmer-to-consumer trade that fosters availability of locally grown or home-produced food products in IL. And also to oppose any government funded or managed National Animal Identification System.
