Divided We Fail is a broad-based, nationwide effort sponsored by AARP, the Business Roundtable (BR), Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) to demand bipartisan action and answers on the nation's most compelling domestic issues - health and financial security for all generations. By bringing together organizations and individuals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, we will convene, promote and stimulate the public discussion on health and financial security during the presidential campaign of caucuses, primaries and general elections. As the first statewide, grassroots campaign of the national Divided We Fail project, Iowa-based organizations representing business, industry, education, labor and advocacy have teamed to help Iowans demand action and answers on these pressing domestic issues. The growing team of Iowa members include: AARP, former Governor Terry Branstad, Communications Workers of America Local 7102, DeWaay Capital Management, Des Moines University, Easter Seals, Iowa Assn. of Homes & Services for the Aging, Iowa Caregivers Assn., Iowa Credit Union League, Iowa Health Care Assn., Long-Term Care Guild of Des Moines, Marsh ConsumerConnexions, NFIB Iowa, Qwest Communications, SEIU Iowa, Siouxland Chamber of Commerce and Wells' Dairy Inc.
