My wife and I got into cruising back in 2001. We received a cruise as a Christmas present.
Since then we've been on 10 cruises and are really hooked. We enjoy the dining and leisurely days at sea. Unpacking once and visiting many different ports of call is a great way to vacation.
It's a toss up between the Hawaiian Islands and Alaska as out favorites.
Have you cruised? We'd be happy to provide guidance to you first timers.
Okay, I just cracked myself up! When I read your subject of 'cruising' my mind first went to memories of what we called cruising.....driving slow through the K&J Drive-In then making the round all the way along Hwy 40 to drive through Cambridge City then the loop back again. 57 Chevies...Mopars...and a black Barrcuda....that was cruising :)
I've never been on a cruise. Not the kind you're talking about anyway. My sister-in-law and her husband have racked up about 30 of them now. It's their life! I love hearing about their travels and experiences and I'm sure a cruise is a wonderful experience. I look forward to you and your wife sharing your experiences with us!
